Written, performed, recorded, engineered, and produced entirely by Johnny O, the album captures a wide-ranging set of musical ideas, from groove-driven electric pieces and funk-leaning tracks to acoustic fingerstyle compositions and more progressive, exploratory instrumentals. While a few selections hint at Latin and Brazilian influences, Studio One is less about genre and more about experimentation. The album showcases Johnny not only as a guitarist and composer, but as a self-contained studio artist, shaping each track from concept to final mix
